Translucent Gold flame maple on a light and resonant basswood body (only 7.6 pounds overall) with bolt-on figured maple neck and fingerboard. This one has been well-used and much-played (not surprising, as it’s a fantastic guitar), and has had a couple of EVH-spec modifications, particularly the D-Tuna on the factory Floyd Rose and the eyebolt strap buttons. There is also a tiny superficial crack between the locking nut allen screws on the back of the headstock that has been professionally filled. Otherwise original, with that very securely-fitted 5-bolt neck attachment, the incredibly comfortable chunky asymmetrical neck profile, zebra-coil DiMarzio humbuckers, beautifully-simple controls (3-way pickup selector and volume), 22 frets, 1 & 5/8” nut width, 10” radius, and a full 25.5” scale length on a remarkably compact and handy instrument. Sounds great, plays great, the Floyd works like a  charm, great color, just an excellent guitar. Made in San Luis Obispo, California, USA, and comes in its original hard case.
