1983 Gibson “The Paul” Deluxe Firebrand

In stock

Clean and all-original save for later hard case, factory Tim Shaw PAFs. Wine Red, beveled mahogany body with set mahogany neck, great weight at 8 pounds overall, unbound ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, 1 & 11/16” nut width, Gibson-branded sealed tuners with metal keystone buttons, flat-mounted black pickguard, “harmonica” bridge, 3-way selector down by volume and tone controls, speed knobs. Did we mention it has its original Shaws, each measuring 7.3k? Interesting late-Norlin guitar, “Made in USA” stamp but no volute, and with the “Firebrand” designation on the truss rod cover although the actual Firebrand model proper had…well, a fire-branded logo on the headstock, but this is a known and documented variation. Structurally and electronically all-there, plays and sounds great, and comes in new Gibson hard case. Made in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
