How To Order from Willies Guitars

Due to a recent increase in attempted fraudulent transactions, we now require customers to contact us by phone or email prior to shipment to confirm the purchase and provide the name of the issuing bank.

Please note that some high-value items may incur additional handling and insurance charges, which can be discussed when you call to confirm your online purchase.

All purchases except layaways have a forty-eight hour approval. All shipping and insurance in both directions is paid for by the customer even if the instrument is returned.

We accept cashiers check, money orders, VISA, Master Card, Discover and American Express. Personal checks are OK but must be approved before you send them. Personal checks can delay shipment by as much as 30 days and there is no return privilege.

We ship out within three days of receiving payment. Call for Wire Transfer information. Yes we DO ship outside the US but require payment by bank wire transfer or bank cashier’s check only. Email us for specific international shipping rates.

We reserve the right to not ship certain amplifiers. Please call with amp-specific questions.

Willies Guitars Shipping Practices:

All items leave Willie’s inspected for breaks, cracks, broken tubes etc. If the instrument arrives to you broken, call the carrier for damage inspection (no, we don’t send out broken guitars).

Please do not send back an instrument that has been damaged in shipping until it has been inspected or you’ll own it.

We ship instruments every day so we take every precaution to get your new baby to you in good condition.

Return Policies:

All purchases have a forty-eight hour approval, except layaways. No returns on layaways unless the item is damaged in transit. If you wish to return something within the 48 hour approval period, that’s fine, but you must send it back well packed and insured! All shipping and insurance in both directions is paid by the customer even if the instrument is returned. If you need to send back an item, please contact us for a return label.

There is no return privilege if you have paid with a personal check, or in the case of a layaway.
