1960 Fender Stratocaster

Sunburst, this guitar has a beautiful glow. It’s the faded green pickguard with no breaks, anilne dye sunset red finish in the sunburst and the yellowed lacquer. It’s evenly weather checked on the headstock and body yet very little arm wear and no buckle wear.
Slab rosewood fretboard (of course), has been refretted in the near past (you’re welcome). Its a nice weight at only 7.5 pounds.

This guitar is 100% original with no rewinds, original three way switch, tuners, bridge, even the original back plate and bridge cover. Also has the original pots, cap and strap buttons. A nice honest slab board strat.

There is edge wear and case wear. The neck has natural wear on the back and feels satin smooth. This comes with the original brown hard case that is very clean.

This era of ’59-’60 is the coin of the realm in pre CBS rosewood strats. Even 50 years ago owning a slab strat was held in high honor. It still is. The pickup output is 5.51K bridge, 6.21K middle and 6.27K neck.

Worn enough to play out and clean and original enough for investment. And tone? Forget about it.
