1×12” combo in black. These are famous for the attenuator that varies the power from a surprisingly loud 12 watts down to just 1 watt. You can disengage that attenuator with a flick of a switch. This also has a hi/lo gain switch for ‘60s or ‘50s Fender-y overdrive. Also, treble, bass, midrange, presence, and reverb controls. The mid control was never available on the lower-wattage Fender amps. The tube-driven reverb has a rich, lush tone. For tubes you get easy-to-find 6V6s in the output stage and then a 12AX7/12AT7 preamp. All point-to-point hand-wired, and the chassis is mounted in a solid pine cabinet that Carr makes in-house, and driving a Celestion A-Type loudspeaker. A very, very usable and reliable amp.
