TV Yellow, aged nitrocellulose lacquer, Bigsby tremolo, lightweight Honduran Mahogany body (7.9 pounds overall), Honduran Mahogany neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard with ivoroid long dots, “haircut” headstock with ebony veneer and MOP Collings logo, 24 7/8” scale length, 12” radius, 1 11/16” nut width, .865” depth at the 1st fret, .967” at the 9th. Nickel Bigsby tremolo and a great-sounding Throbak 55/56 P-90 pickup with black covers. This is Collings’ take on the classic late ‘50s all-mahogany double-cutaway solidbodies made in Kalamazoo, and as usual, they’ve done a superb job.
