New model from Carr! 1×12” all-tube combo in custom two-tone slub/grey tolex. 5 watts from a single EL84, volume, treble, bass, tube-driven spring reverb and power controls – the last being used for a built-in power attenuator enabling the player to get nice crunchy overdrive at minimal volumes. Preamp consists of a pair of 12AX7s and a 12DW7. The heart of the design is the T57/T67 switch, controlling two voicing, the former low-power tweed Fender-esque sounds, the latter a Top Boost AC4 of sorts, had Vox ever made such a thing. An amazing amp for home, the studio, or small clubs, built in typical Carr style with point-to-point wiring, premium components, in-house cabinetry, and a Celestion A-Type 12” speaker.
