All-stock and in fine condition, runs stably and sounds terrific. 1×8” combo, five watts from a single 6V6, handwired, built with top-flight components, 12AY7 preamp, 5Y3 rectifier, 4-ohm Fender-branded Weber Special Design alnico speaker, 2 inputs, volume control, and a power switch. Crunchy, fairly aggressive all-tube tone, very portable, and classic ‘50s tweed good looks. An excellent reissue of the 5F1 tweed Champ so-called “student” amp from Fender that wound up being used by at least a couple professionals, if Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh, and Billy Gibbons count as “professionals”. Comes with deluxe factory slipcover, handwired in Corona, California, USA.
