Cremona Sunburst, F style mandolin. The L denotes Loar style master model reproduction. These are hand carved and tuned as the carver reads the wood and taps it for the best response…an age old skill. This has high grade fiddle back maple with lots of flame. Tuned parallel tone bars brace the top. The Lloyd Loar style ornamentation of dot inlays with fern inlaid headstock inlay abd multi bound headstock, body, pickguard and fingerboard. The neck is also flamed maple and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony. Has a nitro lacquer Cremona sunburst finish. Cremona is the Italian hometown of Antonio Stradivari. The nut width is 1 1/16” with 29 frets and is a 13.9” scale. This model made Gibson famous. Comes with the original deluxe hard case.
