1999 Fender American Standard Stratocaster

Natural, ash body with beautiful grain and rosewood fretboard. We miss this era, American Standard says a lot. No roman numerals just USA standard quality. Has a 9.5” radius fretboard, medium jumbo frets with minimal wear, stainless steel saddles and USA made pots and electronics. The ash wood was an extra cost option back in the day. Now they are rather hard to find but gives Fenders a bit more singing sustain.

This guitar has Fender Eric Johnson Strat pickups installed. The original pickups will arrive soon we are told. The EJ’s have a more vintage vibe. It also has a 3 way switch installed and the bottom tone control rolls in the middle pickup. So the middle position on the three way switch is now bridge and neck. Turn the bottom tone control to get all three pickups. Comes with the original hard case and trem arm.
