1984 Fender Telecaster
$2,750.00In stock
Butterscotch Blonde on ash body. An early example from the much loved Bill Schultz era (’81-’05) who was CEO of Fender who was an engineer and not a banker. Bill saved Fender after the corporate giant CBS almost put them into bankruptcy. How? He focused on what made them famous and gave customers what they wanted: vintage reissues.
The first reissues were made in 1982 and they couldn’t keep up with demand. This one has a neck date of November 1984. This is all original and comes with the original manual and bridge cover. It’s all original except we put a new nut on. So its set up and ready to go. The ash body has a beautiful grain pattern. It has the original flat pole pickup, brass saddles, domed knobs, nitro lacquer finish and flat head screws like the originals. Comes with the original tweed hard case.
