1979 Gibson ES-335 CRR Country Rock Regular

Country Tobacco finish. We love that 1979 name that shows Gibson was “hip”…ahem.

The original Dirty Fingers pickups were replaced with Duncan JB (Jeff Beck) in bridge and a Duncan Jazz in neck position. To some the perfect combo. When Seymour was young it was his choice for his guitar. Just out of our shop with a nice set of new fresh frets. It still has the original brass nut. From the era that Willie calls the Great Brass Scare of the 1970’s. Why Country Rock? Two words. Lynard Skynard. They only made 300 of these so rather rare. The neck is three piece maple, the fretboard is rosewood, with new frets (you’re welcome). Comes with a non original hardshell case.
