1978 Fender Precision Bass

In stock

Not walnut, but a slightly more unusual 1970s Fender hue, in this case, “Wine”, reminiscent of a heavily-sedimented organic Russian River Valley Cabernet Franc. These ’70s P-Basses are getting hot. This one is in good shape, at 9.5 pounds a decent weight for the period and model, some obvious wear but good frets, maple board, all-original including black pickguard, (great-sounding) pickup, factory bridge and tuners, and last year for the superior black tolex plywood case with a burgundy plush interior that was standard slightly earlier. Plays well, kinda cool color.
