Natural, formerly owned by one of the best known bass players in the world: Hutch Hutchinson.
The Ripper was designed by Bill Lawrence who no doubt designed the pickups and switching. Bill really knew pickups. This one has a light alder body and three piece maple neck. It’s in great shape.
It was owned by Hutch Hutchinson who has been with Bonnie Raitt for many years. Hutch is one of the most recorded bass players in the world. He recorded Ryan Adams “Love is Hell” album using this very bass. Hutch has also played and recorded with Willie Nelson, Joe Cocker, The Neville Brothers, Jackson Browne, Crosby Stills and Nash, Ringo Starr, Ziggy Marley and many more.
The bass comes with a hand writen letter with the serial signed by Hutch in the original hard case. Consigned.
