Blackface bass/guitar head, July of 1967 and AB165 circuit per the intact tube chart. Reasonably clean and all-original save for upgraded modern power cable, recently serviced. 50 watts from a pair of 6L6s, all-tube preamp, solid-state rectifier, two channels – “bass instrument” and “normal”, each with volume, bass, and treble controls. One of the all-time great American amplifiers, sounds great for bass, especially in the studio or a small club, and then makes for an aggressive, powerful, and detailed guitar amp with plenty of headroom and great crunch when rolled up. These were built to last, handwired with premium components in Fullerton, California, USA, and are a trustworthy, reliable, and fantastic-sounding stage companion. Classic tone and looks, and a practical tool as well
