1965 Fender Bassman-Amp
$1,699.00In stock
August of 1965, one of the last with the “Fender Electric” panel, “OH” date stamp on the AA165 tube chart, original tolex, grille, transformers, and piggyback mounting hardware, overall pretty clean. So, the blackface Bassman head. 50 watts from a pair of 6L6s, all-tube preamp, two channels, two inputs each, two-band EQ and bright switches for both channels. Sounds great for bass, of course, but like its blonde and tweed predecessors, these are most famed as a historical top-tier guitar amp. Tremendous headroom and detail, and aggressive grind when rolled up. Everyone should own one of these at least once. Freshly-serviced, mains cable replaced with a modem three-prong unit, a robust and reliable amp built to last, handwired in Fullerton, California, USA.
