Polaris White, an exceptional quality clean and original classic. From the “my Les Paul is actually an SG” period. Early ’62 is the last era of the slanted bridge found on earlier Les Paul Specials and Juniors. There were only 377 white specials in 1962 and half of them had straight bridges starting in the fall of ’62. It also has the wide border truss rod cover. This has no breaks or buckle rash and a clean original black textured hard shell case with one broken latch. The pickups are balanced. The guitar is stunning to look at. Any student of mid century design should want this. The Brazilian Rosewood fretboard is as dark as night. An exciting guitar! Consigned.
