1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior

In stock

Cherry with 3 hang tags and matching Skylark amp. All from one owner. The guitar is in the condition you might love, a few dings, some checking, so yes, you can play it. But completely straight, no issues or changes, and very clean – with more case candy than we’ve ever seen with a Junior. Big neck, fantastic tone, 7.5 pounds, has booklet hang tag, “used Gibson strings” tag, “professional attention” tag (that’s 3) plus a box of Gibson “Mona-Steel” strings, Ace strap, vintage picks, and the period strings we removed. But wait, there’s more – the day the lady who was the original owner bought this a matching Gibson Skylark was also included in the deal. The Skylark is clean, unmessed-with and has its original cover, but needs a little servicing. She used flatwounds so no real fret wear. The bridge sits tall and straight with no lean. The pickup is divine. Original faux-alligator soft case, too. A remarkable find.
