1959 Gibson ES-225T

Sunburst, EX-, changed tailpiece so now you have a more usable guitar for use with light strings. As Fender Esquires and Gibson Les Paul Juniors rise in value the ES series with one pickup seems, well, undervalued. The pickup in the middle seems odd but helps prevent feedback. This one has some dings and scratches but no cracks or breaks and has that killer 1959 neck. Has the original big frets with plenty of life. Has a strap button added at the heel. It has a repro-wide border truss rod cover. Has the original electronics, knobs, pickguard and bracket. We see no evidence of the original tailpiece. You’d think this was original with a nickel tailpiece and period-correct wooden bridge. Yes, you could add a T.O.M. bridge with no issue. It comes with a super cool early 60’s Epiphone hard case.
