5E3 circuit, the last and best of the series. Date code FF (June of 1956) with a Jensen P-12Q 12” speaker dated the the 15th (early April) week of 1956. The speaker has been reconed and has a newer plug and speaker wire. This one presents smartly with just enough wear to take out on gigs but clean enough for bragging rights. Original mains transformer, the output transformer is newer, replaced filter caps and three-prong plug installed. These are the most copied chassis in the world and we must say that only 20% of the clones even come close. Like a homemade stew versus the same ingredients in a can. These tweed Fenders have magic. With the dry old pine used in the solid wood cabinets, old aged magnet in the alnico Jensen, this one is special. To have and to hold…you’ll want it.
