EA-15RV, standing for “Epiphone amp, 15 watts, reverb”. Fairly clean and all-original save for replaced mains cable with three-prong plug. Handwired 1×12” combo with grey tolex, beige grille cloth, and chrome control panel with an interesting reverb circuit with a locking arm that keeps the springs immobilized for transportation. It also predates any Fender combo amp with onboard reverb by a few years. All-tube and hand-wired, 5Y3GT rectifier, the preamp has a 12AX7, a 6SQ7, and two 5789s, and 15 watts from two 6V6 output tubes. The original speaker is a fantastic blue Jensen P-12R 12” manufactured in the 14th week of 1961. Two channels, four inputs, a volume for each channel and then master bass, treble, and reverberation controls. Crisp tone with good headroom, and lush reverb, a great-sounding and somewhat scarce amplifier. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Comes with its original reverb footswitch, complete with metal bracket on the inside of the cabinet to retain it when not in use. Consigned.
