Natural, with repaired headstock crack. The finish is original but worn. We got this from Charlie Parr who got it from Kirk Fletcher another killer player. The pickups are changed to Ellis P-90’s. That’s a name we hear more often as Collings used Ellis pickup in the 470JL. This has also been refretted (you’re welcome). While we are still in the confessional…the bridge, knobs and pickguard have also been changed. But wait…the original bridge and knobs are included in the case. The current black knobs look better.

Ok, now we’ve fully explained the nits we have to point out the tone. Wow, you’ll hear It on the first strum. It’s rich and full with long sustain. It plays beautifully and Charlie Parr has been using flatwounds lately so we’re leaving those on there. A player’s grade guitar? This player gets an A+.
