Flame maple top in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst, mahogany neck and body, very light at 7 pounds overall, Bound East Indian Rosewood fingerboard and headstock veneer, bird inlays, “pattern” neck carve, 25” scale length, 10” radius, 1 & 11/16” nut width, incredibly resonant and playable. Pickups are a pair of their excellent McCarty TCI humbuckers, a very musical and vintage-voiced style that really complements the classic design features of the guitar, controlled by a master volume and tone, a 3-way selector, and a push-pull splitter. Other features include the nickel wraparound tailpiece and PRS vintage-style non-locking tuners with wing buttons. The McCarty, a tribute to Ted McCarty, president of Gibson in their electric golden age and later a consultant at PRS, has been in production for many decades now, and like all Paul Reed Smith guitars, offers incredible build quality, premium materials, versatility, and striking looks in a more simple and traditional style than other great PRS models like the Custom 24 and Modern Eagle, and has been a bestseller for us since the ‘90s. Comes in deluxe hard case with all papers and accessories, made in Stevensville, Maryland, USA.
