Natural, extraordinarily accurate reissues built using the materials and techniques Martin used nearly a century ago, particularly hide glue which, due to its superior gap-filling characteristics and hardness, makes for remarkably resonant and easily-serviced acoustics. Solid mahogany neck, back, and sides, a solid wide-grained Adirondack spruce top with VTS, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, 1 3/4” nut, Authentic 1937 neck profile, Forward shifted scalloped top bracing, bone nut and saddle, and an old-school non-adjustable truss rod (Martin didn’t jump on the adjustable bandwagon until well into the ’80s).
