1935 Sunburst, 25.4” scale, this custom OM-42 combines classy pre-war style with the balance and responsiveness that make a great OM so fun to play. It features a Sitka spruce top with Martin’s VTS treatment with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The bound ebony fingerboard is dressed with classic Style 45 snowflake inlays, while the abalone rosette, CFM block headstock inlay and gold Grover Sta-Tite tuners complete the vintage-inspired aesthetic. Playability is equally impressive thanks to the GE Modified Low Oval neck profile with High Performance taper, 1 3/4” nut width, and comfortable 2 5/32” string spacing. The VTS top gives the guitar a seasoned, broken-in character right out of the case, adding warmth, responsiveness, and the kind of mature tone usually associated with a well-played vintage Martin.
