New Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Relic

In gorgeous aged and tastefully distressed Lake Placid Blue metallic nitrocellulose lacquer with a matching headstock. We were pretty pleased when we opened the box from Corona and took a look inside the (deluxe brown tolex center-pocket) factory hard case. Alder body, quartersawn maple neck with a very comfortable ’60 style oval “C” profile, dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays, and vintage Fender-stamped “safety post” tuners. Traditional Fender 25.5” scale length and 1 & 5/8” nut width, but a 9.5” fingerboard radius and 6105 frets. Lovely mint guard and clay dot inlays of course, for that iconic early ‘60s look. Incredible-sounding handwound 60/63 Strat Relic pickups, the middle being reverse-wound and reverse polarity. Standard controls but a 5-way selector. Plays great, sounds amazing, a real looker, and built with premium materials and components with great attention to detail. As mentioned above, comes in its deluxe factory hard case with COA, shop floor traveler, factory papers, and accessories. Made in Corona, California, USA.
