Jumbo flattop, Chicago-made, lacquer finish, recent neck set so plays and sounds great, spruce top with laminate mahogany back and sides. 17” lower bout, tortoise guard, ladder-braced but that doesn’t seem to hurt the tone on this one, freshly-reglued pinless Brazilian rosewood bridge, Kluson tuners, split-parallelogram inlays like a Southern Jumbo or ES-345. Missing Kay logo (they can be found if you’re patient), Brazilian fingerboard. No case so shipping can take slightly longer if we don’t have a correctly-sized box in the house. Really neat, practical and characterful.
