Sunburst, gloss finish. Gibson created the L-00 during the great depression first named the L-0 with a double bound body. Then as the depression worsened they made the L-00 with only top binding. Then, just to confuse us in the later 30’s the L-00 has double binding. Got it? For the past 20 years these small bodied X braced legends rose in value. Now, they thankfully make reissues of these legends. With a loud but focused voice and long sustain, these smaller guitars work great for accompanying vocalists and playing blues. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides with a small vintage style bridge and simple appointments. The scalloped braces make the volume and sustain exceptional for such a small and easy to hold guitar. In very clean condition with the original hard case.
