Blackface, EX, with original color operator’s guide (manual) and original schematic. AB763 circuit per the tube chart, QC date code indicating March of ’67. This has a Fender-labeled 12” Oxford speaker dated the 12th week of 1966, a full year earlier. It’s doubtful that it’s original but certainly possible, and in any case is a really close match and sounds great – clean when needed yet breaks up sweetly. Shop-checked? Yes, we had it fully serviced – long grounded mains cable, two new preamp tubes, biased the output tubes, tightened jacks, etc., and cleaned. Without a doubt the most sought-after amp in America. Why? Tone, lightweight pine cabinet, and at about 24 watts, the perfect amount of power. Plus two channels so when Jimmy Page asks to jam you have an extra channel for him. You never know! You will love this.
