12-string (otherwise known as a 1967 Gibson B-45-12) in gorgeous sunburst finish just back from a neck set. Think of this as a J-45 in 12-string form, mahogany back, sides, and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with a Sitka top. Al woods now delightfully aged for 57 years so that it sounds delish. Authoritative tone with those classy J-45 upper mids, strong, sustaining highs, and that unmistakeable “thump”. Has original nickel Kluson tuners but the original tailpiece has been replaced. The neck is one piece (so you know it’s not a 1969). The neck set has been done recently and the action is fantastic. There are no cracks but the old tailpiece was larger so there is an imprint. Comes with period-correct soft case.
