1965 Gibson ES-125TDC

Cherry Sunburst, these are great guitars. Just ask Marc Ribot or George Thorogood. Admittedly, these were not top of the line in the day (but neither was the Telecaster). Compared to the solid bodies that Gibson made back then and these are cool bargains. Has the original P-90’s, chrome hardware, 1 9/16” nut width, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and sixty years of history from one of the worlds greatest guitar makers. This has had a neck reset! Read that last line twice. We went looking last year at the major guitar shows and half of those we saw needed neck resets. We think the truss rod was also replaced. It is fully functional with no issues. Has a mix of the original chrome hardware and nickel Kluson tuners. The pickups sound great and are well balanced at 8.25K in the bridge and 8.20K in the neck. They are crisp and clear at low volume and plenty of grit when full on. It shows lots of playing wear but we put it through the shop so it’s all good. Comes with a newer Gibson hard case.
