1958 Premier Bantam Deluxe

$4,750.00

Blonde, in a very rare top of the line finish with gold hardware. These were $335 in 1960, as much as a Gibson ES-330. This has a laminated flame maple top and body. It has new binding throughout. Has a deluxe bound Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with big block inlays and a deluxe “liberty torch” headstock inlay. Has the original gold hardware and cool as heck sparkle knobs and pickguard. The gold tailpiece is very D’angelico-ish. The bridge is a Gibson non-wire ABR-1 Tuneamatic. Yikes that’s a $2500 part.

These are a comfy 25” scale, 13.5” wide with a 1 11/16” nut on a very comfortable rounded medium sized neck. These were made for Multivox in New Jersey and noted for great pickup tone that is more Gretsch/Dearmond than Gibson P-90. This is all original except for the redone binding. It is nicely flamed, looks really sharp in the original rare natural finish. Comes with a cool brown hard shell case.
