Sunburst, the J-45 is an icon. Long ago, an older dealer said to me buy every clean vintage J-45 you can and tuck them away. They were about $650 back then.
This one is beautiful and will give you the famous Gibson mahogany flat top sound. Clear, well defined with a great bass and long sustain. Your first strum will be all smiles. A great dark Sunburst over aged Sitka Spruce with great grain in the wood. A beautiful walnut stain over old growth Honduran Mahogany body and neck. Has a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard on a medium large neck with the original tuners and original nut intact. This has one repaired crack by the pickguard, some finish checking and a few dings, but is very clean. This also has a sexy 50’s hard shell case (lucky you) so you can show it off with pride. Still undervalued at this price.
