Cherry, EX++, the differences between the Custom Shop SG’s and the regular SG’s are like comparing a real flower to a fake one. The hand stained Cherry Red finish they call vintage patina. It’s not aged but looks fantastic. One piece mahogany body with great looking wood on this one and a big mahogany neck. This has those deep cutaways that have always looked so cool. Has two Custom Bucker Alnico 3 pickups with good CTS pots and back beauty caps. Also has nickel hardware, light aluminum tailpiece for better resonance, 24.75” scale, 1.68” nut width.
It’s very light at just under 6.5 pounds and is also very resonant with a long neck tenon and hide glue construction (just like grandma used to make). Comes with all of the case candy as when new in the original hard case.
