2×12” combo with tweed covering and vintage-style brown-and-gold grille cloth, very clean condition. This is an earlier script logo model (we’re guessing late 1990s/early 2000s, although Victoria’s excellent started right at the beginning and persists to this day) and is the 5Y3-rectified variant producing 30 watts from a quartet of 6V6s. We’re going to speculate that the speakers, which are a deliberately mismatched (Matchless-style) pair of Celestions, one a Vintage 30, the other a G12H-80 are replacements, but Victoria is famously accommodating with special orders, so it’s possible they are original based on their apparent age and markings. In any case they sound amazing with this top-quality amp, which is essentially a class A cathode-biased push-pull Fender 5E3-type tweed Deluxe circuit but with twice the power and a bigger cabinet. Two channels, four inputs, and very simple controls comprising an individual volume for each channel and a master tone control. Handwired with premium components and tremendous attention to detail, in our opinion the finest tweed-inspired amplifiers on the market. Made in Naperville, Illinois, USA. Local pickup only.
