Black, lightweight mahogany body, journeyman light relic. Made for Willie’s with a custom neck, bigger medium C shape, 9.5” radius, quartersawn maple neck, AAA dark Rosewood and medium vintage frets. Great looking relic treatment on a black lacquer finish. The electronics are the secret sauce with the Tomatillo pickups and a 5 way switch. So all of that adds up to a sweet lightweight Strat with a unique mahogany tone. Yes, they did it on occasion in the 60’s. The pickups run a little hotter but stay familiar to all Pre-CBS Fender fans. The neck feels great and it plays great right out of the box. Comes with a new COA and deluxe hard shell case.
