New Fender Custom Shop ’55 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic

A black mid-’50s Strat, what’s not to love. Lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer on an alder body, overall weight 7.5 pounds, great “Modern V”-profile neck, 7.25″ radius on the maple fingerboard, 6150 fret wire, micarta dots, Kluson-style tuners, classic “spaghetti logo”, one-ply white pickguard mounting three handwound Ancho Poblano pickups, old-style three-way switch, and vintage tremolo. Nice and resonant, feels old, plays great, looks wonderful in this particular configuration, and built with great care by the craftspeople at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California, USA. Lifetime warranty of course (you won’t need it), and ships in its factory deluxe tweed hard case with spec sheet, COA, and accessories.
