2019 Martin Custom 0-42 12 Fret

1935 Sunburst, with tree of life fingerboard. In excellent condition. We ordered this with much excitement and we all remember opening the box and all of our jaws dropped. Wow! In person, the fingerboard and headstock inlay make it look back lit. The multi colored abalone has green, blues, red and hints of white pearl too.

24.9” scale with a 1 3/4” nut width and forward shifted scalloped braces along with Pearl trim on top with a 45 level abalone rosette and back strip. The Guatemalan Rosewood back and sides are high grade and highly figured. Plus the top is a high grade Adirondack Spruce. All put together with hide glue. Has an open headstock for optimal string tension (the better to hear you with my dear).

You may remember that Joan Baez famously played an 0-45, a very rare model. This custom shop Martin is back to us with an added LR Baggs pickup. It’s otherwise in near mint condition. This would be well over $20K if we had it made again. Comes with the original deluxe Geib style hard case and papers. A gorgeous guitar with a balanced tone that works great with vocals and has surprising volume.
