2003 Lakland 55-94
$2,995.00In stock
The original five-string that made them famous. This one custom ordered with swamp ash boy and nicely figured maple top and an optional rosewood fretboard. The original Lakland pickup changed to Duncan Basslines. The switches and controls function as they should. First knob volume, then treble, mid and bass control closest to the bridge. The switch selects either or both coils in the bridge pickup only. Last closest to the bridge pickup is the pan control or pickup selector. All controls are active. Our dear pal Hutch plays with Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson and others loves his USA Lakland. Dan Lakland collected early MusicMan basses and there is a lot of that DNA in these. These are very versatile, toneful and durable. This is also shielded so is very quiet. Butter smooth action, graphite-reinforced neck made of quarter sawn maple, 35” scale, 1.81” nut, 10”-13” compound radius board. This is light at just under 9 pounds and was never abused so is in great shape, comes with the original hard case.
