2000 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Soapbar

Out of stock

Discontinued model (unfortunately), Honduran mahogany body and neck (8.25 pounds overall), flamed maple top in black (yes, it’s flamed – see the natural maple edge that functions aesthetically as binding on PRS guitars), Indian rosewood fingerboard with moon inlays, the P-90 version of Paul Smith’s tribute to his mentor and PRS consultant Ted McCarty, president of Gibson in its golden age. This one has had some modifications, consisting of the addition of Wilkinson Deluxe metal-button vintage tuners, cavity shielding, red speed knobs, and most signally, a pair of outstanding Lindy Fralin soapbars. Plays and sounds great, appealingly simple and straightforward, no breaks, good condition, comes in factory original hard case, made in Stevensville, Maryland, USA.
