Blonde, super clean, think John Lee Hooker model without the JLH appointments. Nitro lacquer finish. The body and neck made in Japan but with USA pickups, hardware and finished and assmebled in US.Unlike the original ’64 model this has the wide 1.68” nut and bigger neck. Has a mahogany set neck, eight layers of body binding, more on neck and heastodkc. Classic Epiphone V in block inlays (later borrowed by Guild). Has vine headstock inlay and gold hardware, comes with the original paperwork and Epi hard shell case.
