1988 Fender American Standard Stratocaster

So, some mods – aftermarket black pickguard and a hot DiMarzio humbucker (appears to be a pink-bobbin Super Distorion) in the bridge position with a coil tap mini-switch, but the color! Original Graffiti Yellow, so very ’80s. Decent weight at about 8 pounds, alder body, maple neck and fingerboard, and vintage tremolo. The sharp-eyed may have noticed that the serial number on the headstock indicates 1984, but Fender was not as rigorous in the assignment of serial numbers in this period, and it carries neck and body dates of 1988. Plays and sounds great, and has a very cool Brad Gillis/Jake E. Lee kind thing going on. Comes in original hard case.
