1983 Gibson Invader Silverburst

In stock

Fresh listing, price reduction. In Silverburst, and from that period the burst was applied to essentially every surface of the guitar, not just the top. Mahogany neck and beveled mahogany body on the standard single-cutaway Les Paul pattern, unbound ebony fingerboard with pearl dots, “Invader” truss rod cover, no volute but “Made in USA” markings, “harmonica” bridge with stoptail, 2 exposed-coil humbuckers with individual volume and tone controls, and 3-way pickup selector. Nice weight at 8.1 pounds, overall very clean and no breaks, appears to be largely original with the possible exceptions of the neck pickups (usually zebra-coil) and the unmarked Schaller-style tuners. No pickguard, but that’s how it left the Nashville plant. Uncommon model in any color, and comes in its original hard case.
