1981 Gibson Sonex-180 Deluxe

In stock

Les Paul-shaped single-cutaway solidbody electric in Silverburst finish with the burst applied to every surface as Gibson was doing at the time. Composite “multi-phonic” body with a wood core encased in resin, bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots, volute-less headstock has the “The Gibson Guitar Company” silkscreen logo (not used for very long) and “Made in USA” stamped on the back, Gibson-branded “watch case” tuners, large 3-ply black pickguard, a pair of zebra-coil “Velvet Brick” humbucking pickups, volume and tone controls, and 3-way pickup selector, ABR-1 bridge and stoptail, “SONEX-180 DELUXE” truss rod cover.  Scarce and pretty neat. Plays well and sounds terrific, clean condition and all-original, 9 pounds overall, made in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Comes in Epiphone hard case.
