1980 Gibson ES-355TDC

In stock

Cherry, Stereo, Varitone. Gibson’s top-of-the-line ES has seven layers of binding, bound F holes, 3-piece maple neck, deluxe bound headstock, ebony fretboard and bound pickguard. Norlin features including volute, “Made in USA” stamp on headstock, and purple-and-white label. This guitar is in very clean condition. Comes with a stereo-to-mono cord. Great neck profile, like-new frets, great action, and new gold pickup covers with the originals in the case. Towards the end of the original production (discontinued in 1982 according to the Gruhn book) Gibson began putting TP-6 bridges and stoptails on these but this one somehow snuck out of the Kalamazoo factory with a vibrola and lyre tailpiece. Another hard-to-find model.  Comes with the original hard case.
