Vintage 1977 Gibson Melody Maker Double

Tobacco Sunburst, first year of (re)issue for the reintroduced double-cutaway two-pickup slab body Melody Maker. Set Honduran mahogany neck with Indian rosewood fingerboard, Honduran mahogany body, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, ABR-1 bridge with stoptail, metal-button tuners. This one has a bit of honest wear but original finish and no breaks. Great weight at 6.5 pounds, too. Routed for some great-sounding hot DiMarzio-ish humbuckers, changed pots and knobs, and comes in a later gig bag. Total rock machine, a 43 year-old American-made Nashville Gibson for under a grand.
