1970’s Aria “Alex” Five String Banjo

Shiro Aria started making guitars in 1964 to sell in his music stores in Japan. Banjos were also popular in Japan. The Japanese three string Shamisen is a relative of the American banjo. Japanese banjos of this era offer good quality at a ver fair price and are many time copies of famous Gibson models. This one has 30 lugs, bound neck, block inlays. Comes with a strap, arm rest, some lesson books in the original soft shell case. A good place to start.
