1968 Gibson Trini Lopez

Cherry Red faded, funny how many guitars Gibson made for Trini. His version of “If I had a Hammer” was #1 in 36 countries in 1963. He signed with Gibson late in ’64. He charted 13 singles in the sixties-a superstar. He also was in the blockbuster movie “The Dirty Dozen”. As a guitar designer he was also kinda gifted. Bound diamond shape F holes, matching inlays and cool ass Firebird matching headstock. The coolest ES-335 ever. This one is refretted and id bracket removed, otherwise all stock. 1 9/16” nut but pretty fat up the neck. Shows light finish checking but looks great. Has no buckle rash and very few small dings and lots of flame on back. Finish has no fade and is vibrant red. Great sounding patent sticker pickups. Has original pickguard and double line Kluson nickel tuners. Red with yellowed binding always looks so cool. Watch these continue to rise in value while you learn Trini Lopez melodies. Comes with the original hard case.
