1967 Rickenbacker 365 OS

In stock

Fireglo, Rickenbacker hollowbody guitar made before 1964 always had double-bound bodies and are very rare. As they transitioned to the new 360 models that have the more comfortable rounded tops with binding only on the back of the body. They offered what was called OS for old-style through the later 60’s. Later these were offered as special order but were called WB models (with binding). These OS models have a look that is unmistakable look. Any Tom Petty fan can attest to he and Mike Campbell using these double bounds in a way that looked and sounded bad ass. This one has been played but is quite clean with good color, no breaks and a good neck set. We’ve had great luck adding the Mastery replacement bridges on these old Rickenbackers but many prefer the original more clunky vintage tone and leave the original bridge in place. The original frets seemed to have been dressed and have only the slightest pitting. We love old Rickenbackers and offer this with its original case with blue poodle interior with pride.
