1967 Fender Showman-Amp

“Blackface”, not the louder (by virtue of its 4-ohm output) Dual Showman. The handwired Showman line was Fender’s top of the line. This, the base model, was tapped for 8 ohms and was meant for use with a 1×15″ cabinet, but it will drive cabinets with impedances of 4-16 ohms with no issues. Incredible thump with a Marshall 4×12″, and makes a killer bass amp as well. This one had a half-power switch installed on the back panel but we restored it to original configuration, installed fresh preamp tubes, and had the output section biased. Hi fidelity with lo money. Recently shop-checked, runs great.
